* Reunion Update *


Plans are underway for our 35-Year Class Reunion to be held on August 14th, 2004 at the Banquet Center in San Jose, which is a Fairmont Hotel OFF-SITE location.  The Banquet Center is located at 444 S. 4th Street, on the corner of 4th and Santa Clara.  So, PLEASE remember to save that date.  We anticipate the cost to be $69.00-$79.00 per person.

 

All the details will be coming to you in the months ahead, however, there are a few things we would like to fill you in on and get your input on.

 

1.)            MUSIC - We are planning to have live music this time.  The Joe Sharino Band was suggested.  Problem is that Joe Sharino is very expensive.  If there is anyone in the class that has a company, etc. that would like to help by sponsoring the band please call Marilyn Moore Marchetti at (408) 741-0732 as soon as possible.  We would have a large banner made up for that company.  Or if you have other suggestions for the band please let her know that also. 

 

2.)        BUFFET - It will be a buffet, so we will not need to gather food choices ahead of        time. There will be several vegetarian choices.  On the RSVP, you will be asked if you have any food allergies and you will be notified if there are any foods on the buffet table that you should avoid.

 

3.)        HOTEL Ð The Fairmont San Jose will be offering us room discounts and those details will be coming to you in the next Reunion Update.

 

4.)            MISSING PERSONS Ð Please review the missing persons list (to be posted) and let Mark Utley know if you know of where any MIAÕs are.  We need help in this area. 

 

5.)            COMMITTEE Ð The committee members are listed below. If you would like to help, contact Marilyn, Mark or Paty.  We will need help with decorations and favors in early July, 2004.

 

6.)            FULL DETAILS Ð Your invitation should arrive in May of 2004.  To save costs, we prefer to send these via e-mail (another reason to make sure you keep us current on your contact info).  We will be sending out brief updates and an updated Missing Persons List occasionally.

 

7.)            COUNT Ð We know itÕs still early, but just to get a rough idea on the count, please email Mark Utley at  mutley@fcsi.fujitsu.com  if you are planning to attend the big event and if you will bring a guest.
